Why we exist
The best review is a story about use, not specs.
Peak & River started after too many purchases based on pristine studio photos and first-impression reviews. Outdoor gear reveals itself slowly: on the fifth wet morning, the twentieth river mile, or the long descent when every ounce becomes noticeable.
Our job is to stay out long enough to find those truths, then make them easy to understand.
